Prior to an initial consultation you will need to complete a nutritional questionnaire and food diary. The initial consultation lasts an hour. During this time, current nutritional status, diet, lifestyle choices, medical history and family history will be ascertained and will form the basis for an analysis of your needs/symptoms. All personal details remain confidential.A health overview and action plan are then devised. Supplemental advice is also offered.

A follow-up consultation usually takes place 4/6/8 weeks later to check on progress and address any new or persistent problems.

The initial consultation and the follow-up consultations are both client centred with the emphasis being on a collaborative approach to solving nutritional concerns.
